Patios in the Park Parking and Traffic Rules

Vehicles in violation of Patios Homeowners Association rules can be
towed or booted by the Association at any time.
- NO VEHICLE SHALL BE PERMITTED TO PARK ON EITHER A HOMEOWNER’S LAWN OR ON THE STREET OF THE ASSOCIATION.
- Parking rules and regulations shall be applicable to all Patios in the Park homeowners whether the vehicle in violation belongs to a homeowner, homeowner’s lessee, tenant, guest, or invitee of a homeowner’s lessee or tenant.
- All vehicles must be parked in either a homeowner’s driveway or in an area specifically designated for guest parking only.
- At no time shall any commercial vehicle or boat, house trailer or boat trailer of any other description, or recreational vehicles as defined by the City of Plantation, be permitted to be parked or stored on any homeowner property, including the driveway area, or in an Association guest space except if it is parked within an enclosed garage overnight (11-7).
- No inoperable or unregistered motor vehicle shall be permitted to remain upon any area of a homeowner’s property or guest parking, other than inside the garage, or in an Association guest space for more than one week. Homeowners may not perform major or long-term vehicle work in their driveway but minor repair such as changing the oil or changing a tire is permitted.
- No vehicle may be parked for more than five (5) consecutive days in any guest space without prior written approval of the Association.
- No vehicle may be parked cross driveway/sideways (parallel to street) on the Association's private streets.
- Charges for towing and storage or immobilization (booting) shall be paid by the homeowner responsible for the presence of the vehicle whether such vehicle be that of the homeowner, homeowner’s lessee, tenant, guest, or invitee, or invitee of a homeowner’s lessee or tenant.
- Speed limits are posted at 15 and 25 mph.
- Homeowners are asked to call the Plantation Police Department at 954-797-2100 if they observe anyone speeding, driving recklessly, parking illegally, or otherwise endangering residents.
