What is the best way to contact someone on the HOA Board?

What are the parking rules?

How tall may my hedges be? Will the landscape folks who cut the grass also trim my hedges?

  • Hedges facing the street must be no more than 6’ tall.
  • Maintaining hedges is a homeowner’s individual responsibility. The landscape crew that cuts the grass will not trim your hedges.

Do I need permission to replace doors and windows or paint my house or add a fence?

  • If you wish to make improvements to your home, please start by reading the Architectural Rules. 
  • Many improvements need Board Approval before you go to the City of Plantation for a permit. 
  • For the most common changes, simple request forms are provided at https://www.patiosinthepark.com/p/General-Information.
  • You can print the form, hand write in the basic information, and mail or fax it to the Association.  For some additions and changes - fences, screen patios, parking pads - you will also need to draw the improvement on a plot plan for the property and show all relevant dimensions.

When is solid waste (garbage and recycle) picked up?

When is bulk pick up?

  • Saturday after the first Monday in the month
  • All items for bulk pick up collection should be placed curbside no earlier than the Saturday prior to your pick up date.
  • Place the items away from your trees and mail box  
  • Yard clippings must be bundled in 4’ sections or placed in clear trash bags
  • NO BLACK BAGS
What is “bulk” waste?
  • Includes but is not limited to appliances, furniture, mattresses, carpets, carpet padding, yard waste and other bulky materials generated from the ordinary housekeeping operation of a residence; items too large to fit into a blue solid waste bag.
  • It does not include construction debris or other loose materials.
  • Only clear yard bags may be used for bulk pick up of landscape and yard waste
